I think that it’s something that everyone should read, regardless if you are a parent or not. They explain about your brain works and I find it especially helpful to learn more about yourself.
Once you understand why you react the way you do, being aware of that will help you gain more control on how to change it (if you want to). Also, it will help give you a direction on how to apply it to help the little ones in your care.
